We understand how pets can cuddle their way into our hearts. Our pets’ whole lives revolve around us, but we, as owners, have other demands and responsibilities to juggle. Providing our fur babies with exceptional in-home pet care when we can’t be there is one way to keep them happy and show our love! From drop-in visits, dog walks, overnight stays, and so much more! Our dog walkers and pet sitters are insured and boned as well!!
Meet Megan
Megan is the heart and soul of the Zookeeper’s Companion! As a lifelong animal lover, Megan takes great pride in her work and treats her pet clients like her own. Megan has been riding horses for over 30 years and has managed privately owned 5-star eventing barns with 30+ horses. Megan also successfully competed in the upper levels of eventing and in the jumper ring. Megan, 5 years ago, decided to use her knowledge and follow her passion and open a pet-sitting company that provides true peace of mind for all clients while their animals are in our care. Safety is a major priority for your animals; that is why she is trained in pet CPR and first aid.
In her spare time, Megan enjoys volunteering at the Schuster Foundation, teaching urban youth about horsemanship and riding; and spending time with her OTTB horse, Shenandoah Bound; and three rescue kitties, Shadow, Moon, and Sunny.
